Blog Tag: 5 Things You Didn’t Know About Me
I’ve seen the blog tag meme spread across the blogosphere like wildfire, and now it even reached me! Thanks, Brad — and yes, I do feel honored! I try not to stray too far from my blog’s topic, but I can make an exception to promote the spirit of blogging.
- I’ve been playing MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) since I was about 11 years old.
- I went to a Jewish elementary school, where I had to take a Judaic Studies class and learn Hebrew for about six years. I always found it a bit silly, considering that I’ve been an atheist for almost as long as I can remember. Transferring to a secular middle school/high school was such a relief!
- I met my boyfriend over the internet almost three years ago, who then became my first real-life boyfriend. (I had been involved in a few purely metaphysical, online relationships in the past, one of them lasting almost two years.)
- I haven’t eaten red meat for at least six years now. I never missed it, but recently I’ve been getting occasional cravings for a big, juicy steak.
- My crazy liberal hippie high school was featured in Vanity Fair, because of all the celebrities’ kids that go there. (See the Wikipedia article.) Speaking of celebrities, Gary Sheffield was my next-door neighbor for a while, and now his house belongs to a guy named Jim Beam.
That might’ve been more than five things, but that’s OK.
Now I’m going to pass it on to Chris, Jim, and Josh.
But even if you aren’t one of those three, I’d love to hear five things about you, too! I’ve yet to meet someone without something interesting to share. So I say this from the bottom of my heart: tag, you’re it!

[…] 4.) As is the case with LearningNerd, I attended a private high school in the greater Los Angeles area. No movie stars were there at the time, although Joan Crawford had sent her daughter there when she wasn’t yelling at her for using wire hangers. One of my classmates went on to moderate fame at the helm of an 80’s dance band called Nu Shooz. […]
