Eight More Random Things About Me

Yup, it’s that time again: time for another blog meme! I already shared Five Things You Didn’t Know About Me, but I guess eight more wouldn’t hurt. Thanks to Brad over at Word Sell, Inc. for tagging me.

The rules of this meme are simple: share eight random facts about yourself, pick eight bloggers to keep the meme going, tell the eight bloggers that you tagged them, and of course include these rules in your post.

So here are my eight random tidbits:

1. I keep a stash of chocolate in my room. Only dark or semi-sweet chocolate is worthy.
2. So far, at least three random strangers have pointed out and practically gasped at my paleness, telling me I need more sunlight before they even said hello. I find it flattering, really. I’m pale and I’m proud!
3. I can juggle five balls — but only for a very short amount of time. Actually, I haven’t practiced in a while so I might not be able to do it anymore.
4. I’m sort of “allergic” to certain textures. I can’t touch chalk, velvet, newspapers, or a number of other things without getting shivers and goosebumps. It feels exactly like when you hear someone scratch a chalkboard with their nails!
5. I still brush my teeth with kids’ toothpaste, because the regular ones are a bit too strong. Are they supposed to burn off your taste buds?
6. When I was little, I loved reptiles and dinosaurs and bugs. I had three leopard geckos when I was in elementary school — well, it turned into five after they had two babies, which were the cutest things ever! I wanted to start a business breeding and selling them, but then I got too busy with school.
7. Half of my socks have holes in them, and I happen to like them that way.
8. I had long hair for as long as I can remember, but I decided to cut it above my shoulders right before I graduated high school, to donate it to Locks of Love. My hair’s been short ever since, and I plan to keep it that way!
